The NFL Regular season just wrapped up its final few games this past weekend and the playoff stage is set. Going into the Wild card weekend, the NFL has 6 playoff games taking place this weekend. The Chargers are playing the Jaguars in Jacksonville. I think the Jaguars are going to beat the Chargers at home. Herbert is a great quarterback, but they are on the road and against a hot Jacksonville team led by Super Bowl winning coach Doug Pederson and Trevor Lawrence. I think Cincinnati is going to overcome Baltimore at home, looking for another Super Bowl appearance. Young quarterback Joe Burrow is hungry for another shot at the Lombardi Trophy. Josh Allen and the Bills will absolutely pulverize the Dolphins, who are starting Skylar Thomspon in note of Tua’s absence. On the NFC side of the bracket I think the Buccaneers are going to upset the Cowboys. Brady is a proven winner with 7 Super Bowl rings to back it up. Dak and the Cowboys also frequently fall apart in the playoffs. Next I have the Giants beating the Vikings. The Vikings are a huge underperforming team. Their record deceives everyone. They lost to the Cowboys 40-3 and to the Packers 41-17. The Giants ,on the other hand, have a new young coach who has found a way to utilize Daniel Jones and the offense. Next, the 49ers are going to run all over the Seahawks and keep their double digit game winning streak alive.
In the Divisional round I think the Chiefs will beat the Jaguars in Kansas City. Mahomes and his explosive offense will be too much for the young Jags defense. Next, I think Burrow and the Bengals will barely outplay the Bills in Buffalo.Then, I think the Eagles will beat Brady and the Buccaneers. The Eagles have too many weapons and will overpower the underperforming Tampa Bay team. The 49ers will then beat the Giants in a tightly contested game.
Now onto the AFC Championship, The Bengals and the Chiefs will have a very hard fought rematch going back and forth and neck and neck with each other. This game will be brutal and hard fought. I do have the Bengals winning by a field goal or less. Burrows' record is 3-0 against the Chiefs and I think that streak will continue. The NFC Championship will be a good game between the 49ers and the Eagles. I think Brock Purdy, the last pick in this year's draft, will seriously show with Christian Mccaffrey and Kittle and their great defense. The Eagles will simply be outplayed but it will be a close game.
The Super Bowl will be a terrific game and the 3rd rematch between the Cincinnati Bengals and the San Francisco 49ers this time with Burrow and Purdy. Although the Niners beat the Bengals in the Superbowl the first 2 times, I think Joe Burrow and the Bengals are going to win Super Bowl 57. It will be an absolutely crazy game between the 2 best teams in the league but in the end Purdy’s inexperience and the 49ers will fall to the extremely talented Bengals. With a young motivated team, nobody wants that trophy more than Joe Burrow.
