Habitat for Humanity ReStore set to open in Loveland

Loveland Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization based around the Cincinnati area, is now opening a new location in Loveland in order to achieve further reach within the community.  The “ReStore” is an independently owned reuse store operated by local Habitat for Humanity organizations, which accepts donations and sells a variety of items from its constantly changing inventory well below the typical market price.  This will be the sixth location in the Greater Cincinnati area, joining 5 other locations such as Bond Hill, Cheviot, and Fairfield.

The new ReStore is opening on Loveland-Madeira Road, where they will sell mattresses as well as accept donations such as appliances, cabinets, and even cars for their cause and renovation efforts. The hours for donation drop offs are 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM with shopping hours following the same schedule, except being closing an hour later at 6:00 PM. The ReStore even accepts donations from local businesses' overstock, offering free pickup for the goods and a tax credit as well. They also allow applications to volunteer to assist in their construction projects, with hours typically falling on Fridays and Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. For those interested, the only requirement being 18 years of age.

Habitat for Humanity is an organization that has had outreach all over the world, helping to rebuild homes and to provide homes to those who can’t afford any.  The ReStore will fund the charity by accepting donations and giving the proceeds from sales to the charity.
